If a national holiday falls on a Sunday, the next Monday becomes a "make up holiday".
If a week day is between two holidays, this day also becomes a holiday as a "bridge day".

18th   Marine Day (annually the third Monday in July)

19th    keiro no hi - Respect for the Aged Day (annually the third Monday in September)
23rd    syubun no hi - the Autumn Equinox Day

October
10th    taiiku no hi - Health Sports Day (annually the second Monday in October)

November
3rd     bunka no hi - Culture Day
23rd   kinro kansha no hi - Labor Thanksgiving Day

December
