The Japanese Alps is a series of mountain ranges in Japan that bisects the main island of Honshū. The highest tops are: the Kita-dake 3193 m and the Hotaka-dake 3190 m.

The Nagoya Castle was built in 1532 and in the 2nd World War completely destroyed. It was rebuilt in 1959.
The Nagoya Castle is famous especially for its two golden fishes. There are stylized fishes on the pediments of the main roof. These are also the symbol of the City Nagoya.

The Matsumoto Castle belongs to the most beautiful and most visited castles in Japan. It is also one of the three most famous castles in Japan (the other two are: Kumamoto and Himeji).
Because of the black walls and outstretched wings it is called: the Crows Castle.
